FAMILY RESOURCE COORDINATOR – 8 HRS PER DAY, 200 DAY CONTRACT

DISTRICT OFFICE POSITION – NON-UNION

 

Job Duties: Work collaboratively with Tillamook School District staff to connect students and families to resources and services within the community.  Develop strong relationships with referral sources for community social services, mental health, and healthcare, and provide referrals as needed. Conduct home visits as needed to help remove barriers and enable families to access needed services.  Serve as a resource to and participate in professional development with district staff.  Collect and analyze relevant data to demonstrate success of programs, based on district and grant goals.

 

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in human services, social work, public administration, or health care management preferred; equivalent experience will be considered as replacement for college degree.
  • Experience and skill in coordinating services for children and families among schools, government agencies, health and social service providers, and other community supports.
  • Ability to work independently, take reasonable risks, regularly innovate, collaborate with various community leaders, focus on supporting participants, and exercise positive professional judgment.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills; English/Spanish bilingual preferred.
  • Ability to work with and build relationships with people from diverse backgrounds, experiences, communities and cultures.
  • Willingness to work evenings and weekends as required.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office required; experience with data collection software preferred.

Valid driver’s license, reliable car, and automobile insurance

  • 8 hours per day, 200-day contract
  • Salary $33,000 - $37,000, depending on experience
  • Excellent fringe benefits (insurance, retirement, holidays/paid days off)
  • Position may involve travel on occasion
