Alternative Education Teacher (Math and Social Studies), Trask River High School (Oregon Youth Correctional Facility), 1.0 FTE
2018/2019 School Year
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s Degree or higher
- Hold an Oregon Teaching License through Teacher Standards & Practices Commission.
- Hold or be able to add an endorsement in Math and Social Studies
- Working knowledge of technology and computer literacy is preferred
- Ability to establish positive relationships with students, and staff
Work Environment:
- This is a closed custody facility, with small class sizes
- Multiple opportunities for creativity and ingenuity
- The person employed for this position will be an employee of TSD#9, but will work with staff of the Oregon Youth Correctional Facility (OYCF)
TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT:
- Report to work August 27, 2018 (New staff orientation is August 24, 2018)
- Current year is $35,369 - $53,499 depending on years of teaching experience and college credits
- 1.0 FTE, 220-day contract
- Excellent fringe benefits
- District paid employee contribution to PERS (Public Employees Retirement System)

On this page you will be prompted to confirm that you are an internal employee. Once you hit the “Yes I am an Employee” button you will be brought to a page to create your profile information. If you have already created an account with Tillamook Talent Ed Recruit and Hire you will want to log in with your username and password. Once you are logged in, click on the Internal link in the top right hand corner of the site. On this page you will be prompted to confirm that you are an internal employee.
