TEMPORARY SPECIAL EDUCATION/SPECIAL CARE EA
TILLAMOOK JUNIOR HIGH - 1.0FTE - 2018/2019
GENERAL DUTIES:
Perform a variety of instructional duties assisting a licensed staff member in the implementation of a specific program for individual students or small groups.
Knowledge of:
- English language, spelling, mathematics, and technology
- Behavior management techniques
- Special Education forms, procedures, legal requirements a plus
Ability to:
- Ability to work harmoniously with others and to communicate effectively with students, parents and teachers
- Carry out duties of special care for students with behavior, medical or daily living skills
- Ability to follow general oral and written instructions
- Ability to work independently and take initiative in task performance
EXPERIENCE: Three years of experience working with students and public is desirable
STARTING DATE: 8/24/18 (New staff orientation) APP. DEADLINE 6/8/2018 or until filled
WAGES: $13.01 – $15.86 per hour (DOE) – Excellent fringe benefits including insurance

Instructions for school district employees (including substitutes): If you have not yet created an account with Tillamook Talent Ed Recruit and Hire you will want to click on the internal link in the top right hand corner of the site before creating an account. On this page you will be prompted to confirm that you are an internal employee. Once you hit the “Yes I am an Employee” button you will be brought to a page to create your profile information. On this page you will create a username and password. If you have already created an account with Tillamook Talent Ed Recruit and Hire you will want to log in with your username and password.
